Starting in March 2019, I became an Editorial Assistant for Allure Magazine, working on both the print and digital teams and assisting the Editor-in-Chief. From November 2021 to 2023, I was the Associate News Editor covering celebrity beauty news mostly. During my four and a half years at Allure, I explored beauty from a culture and entertainment perspective covering topics like tattoos, piercings, beauty standards, Blerds, Black hair care and styling, nails and makeup.
